# Mandatory e-invoicing in Greece from 2 November 2026.

> From 2 November 2026, businesses in Greece with gross revenue up to €1,000,000 also issue their invoices to other businesses (B2B) electronically; from 1 February 2027 only through a certified provider or AADE’s own apps. Here is what applies, what to do and how Kronn Smart covers you.

## The dates

- **2 March 2026 — Phase A**: Businesses with gross revenue above €1,000,000 in the 2023 tax year, with a phase-in period until 3 May 2026.
- **2 November 2026 — Phase B**: Every other business, with revenue up to €1,000,000. Until 31 January 2027 they may keep issuing the way they did (through an ERP or the special form) alongside e-invoicing.
- **1 February 2027 — Provider only**: B2B invoices and invoices to the public sector (B2G) are issued only through a certified provider or AADE’s timologio and myDATAapp apps.

## What applies

- B2B invoices are issued electronically, through a certified e-invoicing provider — from 1 February 2027 only that way or with AADE’s timologio and myDATAapp apps.
- The provider transmits each invoice’s data to AADE myDATA automatically and every document gets a MARK.
- After the transition period, commercial or accounting software alone is not enough to issue invoices: you need a provider.
- Non-compliance can lead to fines.
- For digital delivery notes, phase B (loading, transshipment, receipt, quantity checks) starts on 1 January 2027 and TARIC-based item coding on 1 January 2028.

## What to do now

1. **Choose a provider**: Or invoicing software that already includes one, like Kronn Smart, so you don’t pay for two subscriptions.
2. **Check your client data**: VAT numbers, addresses and tax offices must be right. In Kronn Smart they are filled in from the VAT number.
3. **Talk to your accountant**: About the start-of-electronic-issuance declaration in myDATA and the deadlines that apply to your business.
4. **Do a test run**: In Kronn Smart you try everything in demo mode, with nothing transmitted, and activate when you’re ready.

## How Kronn Smart covers it

- A certified provider in every plan, with no second subscription
- Automatic transmission to myDATA and a MARK on every document
- Sales and services invoices, retail receipts and credit notes
- Client details from the VAT number, for correct documents from the start
- Collections, balances and bank reconciliation in the same software

## Frequently asked questions

### Who does mandatory e-invoicing from 2 November 2026 apply to?

Every business that issues invoices to other businesses and was not already covered by phase A on 2 March 2026 — mainly those with gross revenue up to €1,000,000 in the 2023 tax year. Until 31 January 2027 they may keep issuing the way they did alongside it; from 1 February 2027 B2B and B2G invoices are issued only through a provider or AADE’s own apps.

### Did the dates change?

Yes. Decision Α.1197/2026 (Government Gazette Β΄ 5905/30.9.2026) moved the start of phase B from 1 October to 2 November 2026, with parallel issuing until 31 January 2027. Digital delivery notes moved as well: their phase B starts on 1 January 2027.

### What is an e-invoicing provider (Πάροχος)?

A certified service that issues electronic invoices and transmits their data to AADE myDATA automatically. In Kronn Smart the provider is included in every plan.

### Is my current invoicing software enough?

Only if it connects to a certified provider. Until 31 January 2027 you may keep using it alongside e-invoicing; from 1 February 2027 commercial or accounting software on its own is not an accepted way to issue B2B invoices.

### Does it cover retail receipts?

The obligation covers invoices between businesses (B2B). Retail receipts follow separate rules, which are worth checking with your accountant. Kronn Smart also issues retail receipts through the same provider.

### What does the provider cost in Kronn Smart?

Nothing extra: it is included in every plan, from €10 a month + VAT billed yearly.
